Seven members only played an individual Medalford competition with serial winners Ray Housley and Alistair Douglas competing for the winners slot.
Ray triumphed by virtue of a superior final Stableford total of 18 points to Alistair’s 15 points. Alistair had some compensation by claiming the nearest the pin prize on Hole 5, with, unusually, no-one managing to find the green in 14 attempts at Hole 6.

Second place, Handicap 7.2, Alistair Douglas, – 12.4 shots.
First place, Handicap 9.2, Ray Housley – 10.4 shots.

If anyone would like to join our Society, we play at El Plantio Golf Club every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. We use both courses – the Par 3 nine hole course and the main 18 hole course, so we cater for all abilities. The membership rates are very competitive, so call for more details.
