Two Costa Blanca expats have been recognised in the New Year’s Honours List for their work in the voluntary sector. They are Ricky Garland and Elain Horton, both of whom work for the charity HELP.
Ricky Garland is a volunteer with HELP Vega Baja while Elaine Horton is the President of Jalon Valley HELP.
The citations in both cases simply say “For services to British nationals in Spain.”
