Despite occurring on Saturday evening there is still little information relating to the tragic death of the 28 year old Irish woman who died at Alicante airport after a fall although we now know that she has been identified as Judith Coughlan from Arklow, Co Wicklow.
It is understood the woman fell from a 20-metre height from a walkway as she was crossing a footbridge located at the bus loading area.
Emergency services attended the scene and carried out cardiopulmonary resuscitation before transferring the woman to Elche General Hospital, where she died.
