Today was the 2nd game of the TPGS season and we played at our favourite course, Villamartin. We had 44 playing with 2 reserves! A great turnout again.
The greens where slow having just been hollow tined. As usual we had a 2’s pot which was shared by new Capitano Dickie Allen and Graham Clarke. The nearest the pins were sponsored by The Ale House and the winners were, Richard Kent, Bob Price,Graham Clarke and Dodgy Declan Crowley x 2 all receiving a €10 voucher.
Best guest was Gary Harper with 35 pts, hacker of the day with 14pts was Robert Kemp #laughable.
In the Silver division Alan Carter came 3rd Bo Lejdstromberger 2nd both scoring 32 pts with firm favourite Liz Sully winning with a whopping 35 pts (she was also the best lady on the day).
In the Gold Division Kevin O’Bird came 3rd with 35 pts, Graham Clarke came 2nd with 36 pts of his 5 hcap, but the leader on the day was our captain little Dickie Allen with an amazing 44 pts (incredibly the day before on the same course he scored 18pts!! That’s golf eh!) Well done all and we hope you enjoy your new handicaps!
Next outing is at Alenda on Friday 8th June there are only a couple of spaces left so get your name down quick!
