Although we didn’t bring any trophies home from this competition Vistabella did win through to three semi finals, very well done to Eric Bishop in the Men’s Singles, Del Gunning & Gary Thorpe in the Men’s Pairs and Mo & Martin Foulcer in the Mixed Pairs, the club should be very proud of you.
S.A. Spitfire league. The Greenways were away playing San Luis Wellingtons, they had three excellent wins against this strong squad on their own green..a very pleasing result. Winning the points were Sue Jenkins, Bill Corbishley & Peter Whitehall 28-12. Beryl Regan, Avril Kendall & Gary Thorpe 26-14 and Del Gunning, Martin Foulcer & Maggie Furness 19-13.
