This last Wednesday 13th, members of Las Filipinas Association, together with a number of
local volunteers, gave their time to decorate one of the pine trees located in Los Dolses.
The community group adorned the tree with christmas decorations donated by the Phoenix
International School, Ampa Playas Orihuela, Las Filipinas Association and many local residents.
The idea was to make handmade christmas ornaments and decorations to be put on the tree as a siymbol of integration, diversity, harmony and peaceful coexistence among the many dozens of different nationalities living in the area.
Officers from the N332 Community Traffic Group have made a number of special decorations from their worn and damaged uniforms, with which they wish everyone Safe and Happy travels during this Christmas holiday period.
