In edition 684 of the Leader Newspaper we lead with the Battle of Britain Memorial held by RAFA at La Siesta Church last Friday which was attended by Torrevieja councillors as well as representatives of many service organisations in the area.
The Linea Directa Valencian Bowls Championships gets underway on Wednesday at the Emerald Isle, Quesada and San Miguel bowls clubs with the opening ceremony scheduled for San Miguel on Tuesday afternoon and as always the Leader is the first newspaper with a report and pictures of CD Torrevieja’s 2-2 draw against Alicante Uni on Sunday evening……………….
