A British Airways flight has been grounded at Paris Airport following a threat to security.
The aircraft was due to leave Charles de Gaulle airport at 7.25am and land in London at 7.45am this morning but passengers were told that a “direct threat” had been made against the airport.

All passengers have now been searched and given the all clear, hold luggage is now being searched, he added on Twitter. Pictures and video show police and fire engines surrounding the plane as it sits on the runway at the airport.
According to a statement by a British Airways spokesperson, “The safety and security of our customers and crew is always our top priority. Additional security checks are being carried out as a precaution. We would never operate a flight unless it is safe to do so.”
