A man believed to be one of the Las Ramblas terrorist attackers who killed 13 people has been shot by Mossos D’Esquadra near Sant Sadurni, 50 miles away from Barcelona city.
A resident in the area called police when they saw a man who looks like the fugitive Younes Abouyaaqoub.
Police have confirmed that the man is dead, and a bomb disposal robot was sent to defuse what “appears to be an explosive belt.”
