Remember that Tuesday 15 August, is a Red Day here in Spain, a national holiday in celebration of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, and as such all banks, most public buildings and a large majority of shops will be closed.
You should also be aware that many people and shops will practise the custom known as ‘puente’ which will also see them taking off the previous Monday so please check opening times to avoid disappointment.
