On March 20, during the General Assembly of Los Cantores de la Pasión de Orihuela, the Orihuela Water Court was honoured with the highest distinction given by the group: the “Cantor de Honor 2025” award.
The Water Court follows in the footsteps of last year’s honouree, Rate Bas, a photographer and illustrator from Orihuela, and a long list of individuals and institutions who have received this prestigious award.
The award ceremony will take place on April 17, 2025, Holy Thursday, at 7:00 p.m. in the Loreto Chapel, next to the S.I. Cathedral of El Salvador and Santa María in Orihuela.
The ceremony will also be attended by Monsignor José Ignacio Munilla Aguirre, Bishop of the Orihuela-Alicante Diocese, who will serve as the godfather of the event.
