Mojácar Council has completed the remodelling of the “Los Raspejos” children’s playground, located in the La Fuente area, providing the little ones with a renovated and improved space for play and recreation. With this remodelling, the park has been modernised with new play equipment and safety improvements, ensuring that the children of Mojácar enjoy an updated environment adapted to current needs.
Among the main improvements to the “Los Raspejos” playground are the installation of swings, slides, climbing areas and a new inclusive play area, designed to accommodate children of all abilities. Modern elements have been added that encourage physical activity and social development, and the rest area has been improved, ensuring a comfortable space for families. All this has been done with sustainable materials, in line with the Council’s environmental policy.
The Mayor of Mojácar, Fran García, has highlighted the importance of this: “With this remodelling of the ‘Los Raspejos’ playground we continue getting behind improving public spaces, offering our children a safe and fun place where they can play and share unforgettable moments. This playground, located in such an emblematic place as La Fuente, has a special value for Mojácar and its residents.”
García added that the project forms part of a wider plan to improve municipal infrastructure, aimed at keeping Mojácar as an attractive place suitable for all ages.
The Council invites families and residents to enjoy the renovated facilities and to rediscover the “Los Raspejos” children’s playground, which has become an even more welcoming and attractive space for everyone.
