Murcia, March 17, 2025 – The Guardia Civil has carried out an investigation in Torrepacheco that led to solving three home burglaries and the arrest of the suspected perpetrator — a young but seasoned criminal — who is accused of burglary and fraudulent use of stolen credit cards.

The investigation began last year when a resident of Torrepacheco reported a robbery in the garage of his home. Various tools, cash, and credit cards were stolen from a vehicle parked inside the garage.

The Guardia Civil began gathering evidence, including surveillance footage from the property, which showed a young man rummaging through the belongings.

In the following days, two additional burglaries were reported in the same area, leading investigators to suspect that the same individual was behind all three crimes.

Investigators discovered that some of the stolen credit cards had been used in local shops. Security footage from these businesses provided further clues to the suspect’s identity.

Evidence collected from the crime scenes pointed to a well-known offender based in Torrepacheco. Authorities then launched a search for him.

During one police operation, the suspect spotted officers and managed to flee, evading arrest.

However, after extensive surveillance and investigation, the suspect was located hiding in a remote, uninhabited area of La Tercia, Murcia.
