Four U-17 National Teams Compete in Costa Cálida for a Spot in the European Championship
The UEFA Women’s U-17 European Championship Round 2 is set to take place at Pinatar Arena from March 8 to 14, bringing together four top national teams—Spain, Belgium, Ukraine, and Iceland—in a decisive battle for a place in the tournament’s final stage.
The Icelandic Football Federation (KSÍ) has chosen Pinatar Arena as the host venue for this crucial qualification round. Spain, reigning FIFA Women’s World Cup champion at the senior level and a dominant force in European youth football, will be one of the standout teams in the competition.

March 11 – Spain vs. Iceland
March 14 – Spain vs. Belgium
Pinatar Arena: A Hub for Women’s Football
Since its inauguration in 2013, Pinatar Arena has become a premier destination for international women’s football tournaments. Once again, Costa Cálida will be at the center of youth women’s football, attracting international federations while boosting the local economy with over 1,000 hotel bookings.
