Denmark, France, and Colombia will compete against England from February 28 to March 5.
For the second consecutive year, the English Football Association has selected Pinatar Arena as the venue for the UEFA U16 Development Tournament, which England was originally set to host.
The strong relationship between Pinatar Arena and The FA has once again facilitated the relocation of this event from England to Costa Cálida where England’s U16 team will face France, Denmark, and Colombia in this UEFA-supervised tournament.
All six matches will be played at the main field of Pinatar Arena, with free entry, giving spectators the chance to watch some of the most promising young talents in international football.
The presence of the four participating teams is expected to generate over 1,000 hotel bookings in the Mar Menor and San Pedro del Pinatar areas during the seven-day tournament.
