The Benejúzar Town Hall has announced the completion of improvement and modernization works at La Cerámica Industrial Park, enhancing infrastructure and services in this key area of the municipality.

Mayor Vicente Cases, who also oversees the Finance Department, stated that the total investment for the project amounts to €120,790.21, with €34,479.29 funded by the municipality and the remaining €86,310.92 provided through a grant from the Valencian Institute for Business Competitiveness (IVACE).

This funding supports the enhancement, modernization, and provision of infrastructure and services in industrial parks, business areas, and technology hubs across the Valencian Community.

Councillor for Infrastructure, José Antonio Martínez, outlined the improvements carried out, highlighting the revamp of the green area next to General Gutiérrez Mellado Avenue. This included the installation of new, accessible urban furniture for the benefit of all Benejúzar residents.

Another key aspect of the project focused on sustainability and energy efficiency, replacing outdated lighting with new LED models and enhancing public lighting in the industrial park with the addition of three new light points.

Additionally, a CCTV surveillance system with four cameras has been installed. Two of these cameras are equipped with license plate recognition technology, while the other two provide general monitoring. These are connected to the Local Police, improving security and reducing the risk of infractions in the area.

Martínez also highlighted the installation of two electric vehicle charging stations, responding to the growing demand for sustainable transport options. Furthermore, three new fire hydrants have been added to improve emergency water access in case of fire.

The completed upgrades mark a significant step forward in the modernization and safety of Benejúzar’s industrial infrastructure.
