The Redován Council presented its municipal budget for 2025, which was approved in a plenary session. The budget totals 6,449,200.71 euros, a 5.5% increase from the previous year. The council plans to invest in sports, health, and the environment.
Key Investments:
SPORTS: The construction of a covered pavilion (1,050,000 euros) and the replacement of the turf on the football field.
HEALTH: The creation of a project for a future medical clinic and the renovation of the current clinic (43,927 euros).
ENVIRONMENT: The construction of a floodable park (450,000 euros).
INFRASTRUCTURE: Improvements to the water and sewage system (over 300,000 euros) and the implementation of a remote control and sectorization system for the drinking water network (277,105 euros).
EDUCATION: The completion of the renovation project to launch approved classrooms (44,000 euros).
SOCIAL SERVICES: An increase in funding for the Mancomunidad La Vega (from 150,000 euros to 274,000 euros).
BUDGET HIGHLIGHTS:
The budget balances income and expenses.
Direct taxes remain at 2,356,960.75 euros, and indirect taxes at 160,000 euros.
The majority of income comes from other administrations (2,485,096.33 euros).
Municipal fees generate 1,339,143.63 euros, and asset income is 108,000 euros.
The council will allocate surplus funds from the 2024 budget, estimated to be over 450,000 euros, to pay down the city’s debt. This will free up almost 70,000 euros in loan payments for investment.
The council aims to continue improving the quality of life for its residents and create a prosperous municipality for all.
