Expanding Across Spain

In 2025, ALDI plans to strengthen its presence in the Canary and Balearic Islands and expand in northern Spain, with new stores in the Basque Country, Aragón, Galicia, and Cantabria. ALDI’s Unique Model: Low Prices, Private Labels, and National Sourcing

ALDI’s strategy focuses on a curated selection of private-label products that deliver high quality at low prices. With 86% of its range being private label and 80% locally sourced, ALDI provides cost-saving opportunities for customers while ensuring top standards of quality.

Private-label items are exclusively available at ALDI and are produced by trusted suppliers who adhere to the same quality and price standards. This approach positions ALDI as a trusted, cost-effective choice for Spanish households.

In the past year, nearly 4 in 10 Spanish households shopped at ALDI, giving the chain a market penetration of 38.9%, according to Kantar Worldpanel.
