The ferry between Santiago de la Ribera and La Manga del Mar Menor which normally runs between Wednesday and Sunday has been cancelled until further notice due to low water levels.

San Javier Town Hall hope that this is only a temporary measure stating in the announcement that the ferry service will be up and running again as soon as the tide level rises.

When operating thejourney takes 40 minutes and tickets can be purchased on board.

Previously, the ferry had resumed operations on July 1, 2024, offering regular routes between Santiago de la Ribera and La Manga to alleviate traffic congestion during the summer months
