The Three Kings Parade (Cabalgata de Reyes) in Madrid is an eagerly awaited event that marks the culmination of the Christmas season. On January 5, 2025, the parade will start at 6:00 PM at Plaza de San Juan de la Cruz and proceed along the Paseo de la Castellana, passing iconic landmarks like Plaza de Colón and ending at Plaza de Cibeles. The grand procession will feature over 1,000 kilograms of candy, twelve floats, musicians, dancers, and fantastical characters.

The Three Kings Parade is one of the most anticipated parades of the year in Madrid. It is an occasion where people of all ages gather together to celebrate the magic of an event which illuminates the streets of Spain’s capital city, Madrid, and the surrounding municipalities, and one where vistors get the opportunity to see the Three Kings – Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltesar.

The parade’s theme, “The Night of Fulfilled Wishes,” promises a spectacular show. The streets will transform into a magical stage for spectators of all ages. Additionally, 8,000 outdoor seats and 2,500 seats at the Palacio de Cibeles are available for those who prefer a comfortable view. Access is free on a first-come, first-served basis, starting at 4:00 PM for the outdoor seats and at 4:30 PM for the seats at the Palacio de Cibeles. The event will be televised live starting at 6:25 PM on La 1 of TVE, and it will also be available to stream on RTVE Play.

The city of Madrid has prioritized accessibility by offering specialized services for children in hospitals, those in foster care, individuals with disabilities, and social organizations. These services include audiodescription, magnetic loops, amplified sound, and vibrating backpacks, which will be available in areas marked with the International Accessibility Symbol.

In addition to the main parade, 16 districts of Madrid will host their own local celebrations between January 3 and 5, 2025. The festivities in Chamartín began on January 3, with more parades scheduled for January 4 in districts such as Carabanchel, Tetuán, and Usera. Parades in Hortaleza and Moncloa-Aravaca will follow in the evening of January 4. On January 5, districts such as Latina, Puente de Vallecas, and Villaverde will join in, with each parade featuring themed floats, entertainment, and activities for all ages.
