Mojácar Council has completed the remodelling works on three of its main children’s playgrounds: Frontón, El Pabellón and El Cantal, as part of an ambitious plan to improve public spaces for family leisure. These makeovers reinforce the municipality’s commitment to the well-being of its residents, offering the youngest modern, inclusive and safe play areas.
The Mojácar Mayor, Fran García, highlighted the importance of these works for Mojácar: “The renovation of the Frontón, El Pabellón and El Cantal children’s playgrounds mean a great improvement for the families of Mojácar. We want our children to grow up in environments where they can play, learn and share, always with the best safety and comfort conditions. These spaces are much more than playgrounds; they are places to meet and for getting together that strengthen the social fabric of our municipality.”
García also pointed out that these actions make up part of a comprehensive plan to modernise Mojácar’s public infrastructure, ensuring that every corner of the municipality offers quality spaces to its citizens. “We will continue working to make Mojácar a place where everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, find suitable spaces for their enjoyment,” he concluded.
The three children’s playgrounds have been transformed with the addition of new interactive games, inclusive structures and rest areas for the greater comfort of parents and carers. In addition, all the works have been carried out using sustainable materials and following high safety standards, ensuring that these spaces are accessible and respect the environment.
With the arrival of the Christmas season and school holidays, these remodelled children’s playgrounds become a perfect place for the little ones to enjoy their free time in the open air, sharing fun moments with friends and family. The Local Council invites residents and visitors to take advantage of this special time of year to rediscover these spaces, which combine modernity, safety and the welcoming spirit of Mojácar.
