Once again, at the tiny Catholic church, Capilla de las Mil Palmeras, over 500 veterans and members of the general public, came together in common grief as they were led in Remembrance by Pastor Keith Brown.
In view of the recent Dana in the Valencia area, the event was especially significant, allowing the congregation the opportunity to reflect on that awful tragedy as well as the gravity of their more personal memories of recent wars and conflicts.
