Exports from the Valencian Community in July were valued at almost 3.2 billion euro, which represents an increase of 6.4% compared to the same period last year, according to data published by the Territorial Directorate of Commerce of the Valencian Community.

The regional minister for Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism, Nuria Montes, has highlighted the importance of continuing to support the promotion and internationalisation of companies in the Valencian Community.

“Companies continue to operate in an unstable environment. It is necessary to expand our support and focus on the development of programs and measures that allow companies to overcome moments of uncertainty with less difficulty,” said Montes.

In July, the main positive contributions to the rate of change came from the food, chemical products, non-chemical semi-manufactured goods, and energy products sectors.

In the provincial analysis, Alicante registers an export value of 617.5 million euro, with an increase of 8.9%.
