The Alicante Provincial Council has granted three subsidies to the Los Montesinos town council. These grants will allow the municipality to carry out a series of tasks in various areas such as public works and sports.
The largest grant was €36,764.70 and will be used for investment in improvements to municipal roads. Specifically, this amount will be used to carry out improvement works on the La Palmera road.
The second contribution is focused on sport. In this case, the provincial council has allocated €3,212.06. An amount that will help cover the maintenance costs of the Municipal Football School. They will also finance a portion of the salaries of the instructors, with an estimated cost of €55,802.52 for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The third of the grants, amounting to €1,729.08, has been awarded within the framework of the “Call for Subsidies to City Councils to prevent addictive behaviour”. With this aid, the annual Addictive Behaviour Prevention program can be carried out: Universal School and Family Prevention Program “Game of Keys” 2024, with the students of the IES Los Montesinos – Remedios Muñoz and their families.
