The problem of electric scooters in Orihuela Costa continues to be a hot topic as over a hundred are seized by the Policia Local.
Following the closure of a private road through Montezenia urbanisation, CLARO is asking the council to make improvements to a dirt track linking the area around the Overseas supermarket in the west and Los Dolses/La Zenia in the east of Orihuela Costa, which is now used on a daily basis as a shortcut by many hundreds of vehicles.
Also in Orihuela Costa a10-year-old boy is at the centre of a legal battle stemming from the alleged murder of his father by his 49-year-old Norwegian mother last week after the defence claims that he was coerced into making a statement.
