Orihuela City Council has published in its electronic headquarters the final list of approved of the 24 positions of Local Police officers framed within the extraordinary stabilisation processes.
“These processes should be developed in all public administrations in order to reduce the number of interim civil servants who for years have been providing services without their positions being included in any public job offer” declared the Councillor for Human Resources, Luisa Boné.
The Human Resources area has been working for some time to reduce the number of long-term interim workers, who in some cases have worked for more than 25 years in the Orihuela City Council, with the aim of improving the working conditions of municipal employees and providing greater stability. to the organisational structure of personnel required by public services.
In this sense, the City Council has executed and completed 99% of the selective stabilisation processes, which is equivalent to 36 oppositions out of 38 that included a total of 260 positions in different professional categories such as psychologists, administrators, ordinances, architects, etc., leaving exclusively pending the completion of 2 selective processes that make up 2 places.
With the completion of these processes, the Orihuela City Council complies with the objective of Law 20/2021 of December 28 of urgent measures to reduce temporary employment in public employment, significantly reducing the high interim rate of the Consistory.
