The Department of Tourism of the Orihuela City Council has published the routes scheduled for March that will have Miguel Hernández as the central character on the 80th anniversary of his death.
Scheduled for Saturday the 19th, at 11:30 is the children’s Workshop ‘Let me tell you’, where the children can sit or lie down to read and listen to short stories by Miguel Hernández, in a room that is promised to be full of surprises.
On Saturday 26, the Department presents ‘Miguel… dear Miguel’, another totally new and dramatized route that will leave at eight in the evening from Puerta de la Olma. It will highlight the history, customs and anecdotes of the city of Orihuela and its illustrious character Miguel Hernández. A day later, on Sunday the 27th, at half past seven in the evening we will learn about the life and work of the Orihuela poet.
There will also be a number of family routes such as ‘El Juglar y las Historias de su Hogar’ as well as the highly popular routes of the Palacios, Monumental, Murales de San Isidro, A Walk with Loaces and A Walk with Velázquez, among others.
