The Valencia Regional Police imposed sanctions on 12 leisure and restaurant establishments within the specific control device activated from Friday 28 to Sunday, January 30, throughout the Valencian Community. Of these 12 sanctions, one has been proposed for non-compliance with the COVID regulations and the other 11 for violating the Entertainment Law.
Within this same device, in which inspections have been carried out in 106 premises, the Police Unit Attached to the Generalitat has drawn up 14 reports on people who did not comply with the COVID regulations and has also identified 307 people and controlled 192 vehicles. Likewise, it has made 89 warnings related to the use of the mask, the safety distance and other health reasons related to COVID.
The actions are part of an operation carried out in collaboration with other security forces and local police, mainly to verify compliance with COVID regulations, taking into account the increase in infections with the consequent growth in the accumulated incidence. The actions have been carried out both in establishments and in shops and on public roads.
