Ryanair has announced that it will start a new route between Alicante and Helsinki airports starting in April, with two flights a week to connect both cities.
The announcement was made on Wednesday after Ryanair held a meeting with the Alicante City & Beach Tourist Board at the Fitur International Tourism Fair.
The deputy mayor of Alicante, Mari Carmen Sánchez, pointed out that this is “very good news, since the Nordic market is increasingly important for us”. “In fact, during the pandemic the great interest they have shown in our city has come as a surprise and with a direct link it will undoubtedly improve their presence in Alicante,” she added.
