We arrived at this excellent course to be greeted by an overcast sky and a fierce freezing cold wind. However the afternoon saw the clouds disappear and the sun appear.
The results were dominated by outgoing Captain Elspeth Craig and her better half Alan, Elspeth taking the Silver award with 39 points ,two nearest the pins and two shares of the 2’s pot. Alan took a nearest the pin and a share of the 2’s pot.
The Gold section obviously found the conditions hard going as the winner ,on countback, with only 29 points was John Brastock.
The last NTP was won by Alex Leach and Tim Ruse took the last share of the 2’s pot.
Sadly we heard the the news of the passing of one of our founder members,Eric Edwards who,as a former Royal Marine, sponsored an annual trophy. Our condolences go to his wife June and his family.
