Murcia, May 8, 2025 —
The Guardia Civil in Murcia has dismantled an active drug trafficking point in a house located in El Raal, a district of the city, as part of “Operation Redvas.” Five individuals have been arrested and charged with crimes against public health for drug trafficking.
During the operation, officers seized numerous doses of cocaine, heroin, and hashish, along with cash, electronic equipment, tools, and other items believed to be stolen. These objects, including computers, bicycles, consoles, and cameras, were allegedly used by customers as barter for drugs.
The investigation began months ago when authorities followed up on reports linking a specific property in El Raal to drug activity. Surveillance confirmed the location was being used for street-level drug sales, with frequent short visits from individuals purchasing narcotics.
One of the suspects had an outstanding arrest warrant and an expulsion order from Spain.
The raid resulted in the seizure of around 100 ready-to-sell doses of drugs, alongside a variety of items suspected to be stolen.
The Guardia Civil is appealing to residents from El Raal, Santa Cruz, Llano de Brujas, Santomera, and Beniel who may have been victims of theft to visit the Santomera station or call 968 277 135 to identify and recover their belongings.
