FCV updates protocol for clubs, due to positive Covid-19 cases

The Football Federation of the Valencian Community (FFCV) has updated it’s protocol to be followed by clubs in the event of the appearance of positive cases in their teams, due to the sixth wave of COVID-19.

To ensure the proper functioning of the competitions and avoid unnecessary suspensions, CIRCULAR 34 regulates the new actions for clubs.

Beginning on January 31, 2022, the postponement of a match can only be requested with five (or more) accredited cases.

In futsal and football 8 – with smaller squads – it will be up to the Competition Committee to assess each specific case to decide on the possible suspension.
