CARTAGENA port saw the start of the 30th Regatta Cartagena to Ibiza Estrella de Levante 2019 Trophy get underway this week.

The Regatta Classic saw boats set sail out of the port of Cartagena, cruising from the area of the Mediterranean peninsular and the islands of Ibiza and Mallorca.

The 170 miles journey will end in the Ibiza coastal town of Sant Antoni de Portmany.

The race demands the best of both the boats and their respective crews – with long hours of navigation – facing all weather conditions at sea.

The boats will arrive in Sant Antoni, followed by the presentations of trophies taking place.

The 30th Regatta Cartagena to Ibiza race is organised by the RCA of Cartagena, with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena.
