The 2019 Flat season big race opener sees the Charlie Appleby trained Auxerre ridden by Adam Kirby well supported in The Unibet Lincoln over 1 mile on March 30.

Blue Mist, trained by Roger Charlton, who won in good style at Ascot in October and ran second behind Wissahickon at Chelmsford, is another for the notebook.

David O’Meara has a trio of entries, having won the race with Bravery – tipped by The Leader – in 2017.

O’Meara’s stable newcomer Humbert is just 1lb higher in the ratings than when winning under O’Meara’s stable jockey Danny Tudhope at Newcastle in June.

Humbert ran second in the  the Spring Mile Handicap on the opening weekend of the turf in 2018 – and finished a neck second behind Taqdeer in the Spring Cup Handicap at Newbury.

Rip Orff, Kynren, South Seas, Masham Star and Remarkable are Lincoln eyecatching entries, with the latter allocated top weight, if Hathal doesn’t make the final cut.
